Hiring the Village Hall

Main Hall

Key Information

The Main Hall is is located on the first floor at 59′ x 19.6′ (18m x 6m) with enough space to comfortably seat 100 guests theatre-style or at tables.

The hall is accessible via a flight of stairs or there is a stair lift for the less mobile.  It is a wide open space perfect for hosting birthday parties, wedding receptions and large functions.  The main hall has a large well appointed kitchen.

Committee Room

Key Information

The Committee Room downstairs is cosier at 29.5′ x 15′ (9m x 4.5m)  and suitable for smaller groups of about 30 people for meetings or events.  There are large tables set out and comfortable padded chairs.  It has a small kitchen and facilities for making and serving teas and coffees.

Pricing

The costs of hiring the Hall are:

Main Hall £6.50 per half-hour (community rate £5.00)
Committee Room £4.50 per half-hour (community rate £3.50)

People that live in Kelsale cum Carlton who want to use the hall are entitled to the lower community rate.

Exclusive use of the kitchen £25 one-off charge

Rooms to be booked half-hourly, with a one hour minimum booking

Damage Deposit

Weddings and adult parties will be charged a damage deposit of £250. Similarly, exhibitions and conferences will be charged a damages deposit of £100. For other events a damage deposit of up to £25 may apply depending on the nature of the event.
